What is “inflammation independence” ??? (free webinar series)
It’s been a few months since you’ve heard from me… so I’m excited that I get to announce a free webinar series, starting with one of the most important topics, inflammation (schedule below).
I’ve been in the Tam-cave working on my upcoming book on Cannabis and the Endocannabinoid system, writing, rewriting, and it seems this book will never be done (I just heard from my editor I will be done my part on August 31 ready for sale in March 2020). We’ve also planted 150 hemp plants and oh my what a sight to see them out in the field. And of course our Herbal Apprenticeship is going smoothly with 28 lovely women learning about the plants.
The first webinar in the series is on one of our favorite topics, Inflammation. Then in the coming weeks you’ll be able to attend workshops dedicated to all of the core topics; gut, pain, skin, heart, endocannabinoid system, respiration. These presentations will eventually be added to the online programs, but when you register now they are totally free for all.
Why do you hear me talk about inflammation all the time???
One of the top things you could do to boost your overall health would be to cut down on chronic inflammation. Understanding inflammation and how it works (for you) is probably a good starting point to being able to reduce it.
This topic is so important to health that there is an entire section in my upcoming book on chronic inflammation. Sorry folks, no more juicy details about the book yet, but in time… (grrrr).
Thriving with inflammation? What kind of title is this?
Thriving doesn’t mean being rid of all challenges… it’s about optimizing your health and vitality so you can be out in the world doing what you were meant to do.
For me, thriving doesn’t mean being completely rigid either… (never eating cheese) it means understanding what the effects will be if I consume something that doesn’t agree with me (I’m actually allergic to it) and making an informed choice about when and where I decide to partake in something that doesn’t optimize my health. Like the Buddha says, walk the middle path. It is really helpful knowing where the deviation is.
What you’ll learn from this webinar presentation:
- How inflammation works at the cellular level
- The benefits and drawbacks of acute & chronic inflammation
- The causes of the body wide state of chronic inflammation
- Specific ways to coax the body back to its healthy state
- Things anyone (including you) can do to decrease inflammation
