Heartstone Herbal School - Herbal Medicine

2012 CALENDAR

MOTHER'S DAY WORKSHOP

COME CELEBRATE THE AFTERNOON

WITH YOUR MOM, DAUGHTER, PARTNER, OR SON

We will be creating a lovely afternoon of quality connecting time with Mom and the plants.  We'll wander the gardens and fields to see the flowers peaking their heads out in the early springtime.  Some of the plants and flowers may be used to create foot baths for each other while we sip tea and eat snacks.
The day will finish with intentionally planting wishes in the form of seeds for everyone to take home.
We're sure you and Mom will have a time to remember.

James Green
"I am one of the small groups of crazies that decided in the early '60's to become professional herbalists..."A what? An herbalist? What's that?" folks would politely ask.  "Do herbs work?" would be their next question...And I have been doing the herbalist thing ever since...Listening to plants, founding and running herb stores and herbal medicine-making businesses, owning and directing herb schools in Canada and the U.S., teaching classes that revere and passionately applaud plant life, publishing herbals and medicine-making books, tending gardens, hanging out with other green crazies as we co-founded essential herbal associations, guilds and endangered-medicinal-plant protecting communities and generally helping others use herbs and self-appreciation to enhance and enjoy their health.  I've been charmed by the The Green.  It's a good life being an herbalist..."
